This autumn is quite eventful and full of the conferences held by Saint Petersburg State University with the participation of Saint Petersburg Society of Naturalists. So, for example, the Tenth Annual International Youth Ecological Conference "Rational Natural Resources Management and Biodiversity Conservation Problems" with the assistance of SPbSU is scheduled on November 26-27, 2015 at The Summer Palace of Duke of Leuchtenberg in Sergievka.
Also, one more conference is scheduled at the same place: The Third International Research-To-Practice Conference "Museum under the Open Sky. A Modern Approach to Sculpture Maintenance." The conference is organized by The State Museum of Urban Sculpture, Saint Petersburg State University and Saint Petersburg Society of Naturalists. The first day of the event will be held in Sergievka on November 18. Then the participants are supposed to visit The State Museum of Urban Sculpture where they are going to keep working two more days (November 19-20).
Furthermore, there is a conference dedicated to the bicentennial jubilee of Karl Fedorovich Kessler (1815-1882), the principal of The University, its founder and the first president of SPbSN, which ought to be a significant event in the scientific community life. The event will take place in The Petrovsky Hall at SPbSU on December 2, the next day the participants will have an opportunity to visit the tomb of K. F. Kessler at the Smolensky Cemetery.
